Are you feeling overwhelmed, carrying a grief too heavy to share, or feeling the weight of the invisible wounds of emotional abuse or childhood trauma? Maybe you’re not sleeping, constantly overthinking, or finding it impossible to switch off. You might be running on autopilot—doing everything for everyone else while feeling disconnected from yourself. Anxiety, low self-esteem, or the aftermath of something life-altering—like pregnancy loss, a change in circumstances, or the end of a relationship—can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted and unsure where to turn.
Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone.
I’m Elaine, a qualified person-centred integrative counsellor based in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol. I offer trauma-informed counselling for anxiety, grief, emotional abuse, low self-worth, and pregnancy loss — both in-person in Bristol and online across the UK. I also teach on Network Counselling and Training’s introductory courses, supporting others as they begin their counselling journey.
With me, you’ll find a calm, compassionate space to explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we can untangle what’s been weighing you down, rebuild self-trust, and support you to move forward with more clarity, self-worth, and confidence.
Counselling isn’t just for crises—it’s a nurturing space for healing, reflection, and meaningful emotional growth.
Personal Touch
Counselling changed my life. It helped me build self-worth, confidence, resilience and showed me how to heal and find purpose. I believe it can help you too.
I began my career as a magazine designer, drawn to the creativity and expression it offered. But under the surface, I struggled with low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, and overwhelm.
The death of my Mum to cancer, along with recurrent miscarriages, became profound turning points. These losses reshaped my perspective and led me to a new path – one grounded in empathy, presence, and connection.
Now, I’m a qualified counsellor and educator, offering warm, non-judgmental talking therapy, face to face, in Bristol and online across the UK. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and healing with the right support. I am also a tutor on Network Counselling and Training’s intro courses, which you can find here.
I live just outside Bristol with my husband and our rescue dog, Bella. I love being outdoors—walking, exploring castles, and soaking in the changing seasons.
Creativity still matters to me: I craft, and make some of my own clothes. For self-care, I turn to journalling, gardening, yoga, sound baths, and sharing good food and board games with loved ones also brings me joy.
