As a Behavioural Psychologist and Award-winning Relationship Counsellor, I provide a supportive environment for both singles and couples of any gender or sexual orientation.

I offer both regular one-off sessions and a customised six-session package to support you in repairing and rescuing your relationship wherever possible.

I work with couples of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations, as well as singles looking for Dating Coaching. My experience as the UK's first Dating Coach and my recognition as Dating Expert of the Year twice informs my practice.

In our sessions, we will typically:

  • Provide support for individuals preparing for marriage or cohabitation through Pre-Marital counselling.

  • Develop customised wellbeing programmes for employees in small businesses.

I am a proud member of several professional organisations, including the British Psychological Society (FMBPsS), the British Neuroscience Association, and the Association for Coaching. My training and experience have equipped me with a solid foundation in psychology and neuroscience, allowing me to support my clients effectively.

Therapy Approach

My therapeutic approach is designed to be flexible and supportive, catering to both individuals and couples. I typically offer six separate coaching sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. These can be conducted in my private Hove counselling rooms or via Zoom. In our sessions, we will typically:


  • Explore your unique situation and relationship dynamics.

  • Engage in both couple and individual sessions as needed.

  • Receive customised recommendations tailored to your needs.

  • Benefit from email follow-up support between sessions.

  • Schedule 'top up' sessions after the initial six to check in on progress.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Behavioural

Behavioural therapy focuses on changing negative behaviors through conditioning techniques.

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy combines cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness strategies in order to help individuals better understand and manage their thoughts and emotions.

Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths that enable individuals and communities to thrive, focusing on well-being, contentment, and fulfillment.

Person-Centered Therapy

Person-Centered Therapy, developed by Carl Rogers, emphasizes a non-directive, empathetic approach that empowers and motivates the client in the therapeutic process.

Relational

Relational therapy is based on the idea that mutually satisfying relationships with others are necessary for one’s emotional well-being and that problems in these relationships can cause mental health issues.
