Hello and a very warm welcome to my profile. My name is Kamarun Kalam, I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor. I am also a qualified Family Mediator and Social Worker with over 25 years of experience supporting families. As a qualified therapist my aim is to support you to feel more fulfilled in life. I want you to be able to speak your truth and feel heard, understood and seen. Over the past 25 years I have supported families, couples and individuals in need with various issues across several roles in the public and private sector. I offer online video and audio calls for counselling. The counselling service supports individuals, children, couples and families. I work in an Integrative way and have training in: Person Centred/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/ NLP & Hypnotherapy/ Sandplay /Brief Solution Focused Therapy/Emotional Freedom Therapy/ Mindfulness/ Family Therapy/ Couples Therapy/ EMDR and Hypnosis. I offer Clinical Supervision for Counsellors, and Life Coaching services as well as Psychotherapy and Counselling services dependent on your needs. I have worked with MIND the National Mental Health charity, CAFCASS (Children And Family Court Advisory Support Service), Birmingham City Council, Youth Offending Service, Fostering Services, Salvation Army Supported Contact Centre, Barnardo's Sexual Exploitation Team, and Employee Assisted Programs supporting people with variety of mental health issues. Hi it’s Kam from Talkwell Counselling Service thank you for your enquiry. My rates are £70 for individual and £90 for couples therapy all online via video call or phone. Sessions last 50 minutes and a range of diverse approaches are used to support therapeutic interventions. My office shut down over covid so the practice was moved to become fully remote. Options are watsapp video/ Facetime/ Teams/ Zoom or normal telephone if you prefer not to be on video. I offer Monday-Friday and some evenings but not weekends.
