If you find yourself constantly checking for exits, and reading micro expressions on peoples faces- risk assessing everything internally you may have grown up in an abusive home that has made you hyper vigilant. You live in constant low level anxiety and fight flight freeze fawn responses and reactions to daily life. This is exhausting for your body and brain. In order to regulate and calm your nervous system down you need to remind your brain and body that you are safe now. Therapy can help.
