Background

As a Clinical Psychologist, I adopt an integrative approach to therapy. I utilise a range of evidence-based therapeutic models tailored to meet the specific needs of my clients.

In our sessions, we will typically:

  • Conduct an initial consultation to understand your difficulties

  • Explore your current circumstances and background history

  • Discuss any questions you may have about the therapy process

  • Assess if we are a good fit for working together

  • Help you decide on the next steps in your therapeutic journey

This initial session is an opportunity for both of us to ensure that my approach aligns with your needs and goals.

Therapy Approach

In my practice, I adopt a compassionate approach to therapy. I utilise various therapeutic models to understand and address my clients' difficulties. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also incorporate other approaches, such as attachment theory and Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT), tailored to each individual's needs.

In our sessions, we will typically:

  • Conduct an initial assessment to understand your challenges.

  • Explore your current circumstances and take a brief background history.

  • Discuss any questions you may have about the therapy process.

  • Determine if we are a good fit for working together.

This initial session is an opportunity for both of us to assess how we can work together effectively.
