A new way to find the right support

Start with how you feel — not the right words

When you're struggling, it's hard to know where to start. You might not have the clinical terms to describe what you're going through.

That's okay. You don't need them.

Counselling.Network is built to understand how you actually feel — not just keywords. Describe your experience in your own words, and we'll help you find the right support.

Start with how you feel

People don't search using clinical terms. They describe their experience.

"I feel overwhelmed all the time"
"I can't stop overthinking"
"I feel numb and exhausted"
"I keep arguing with my partner"
"I'm struggling since my loss"
"I don't feel like myself anymore"

How it works

Three simple steps to finding the right support

1

You describe how you feel

Use your own words. There's no wrong way to express what you're going through. Just type what's on your mind.

2

We connect meaning

Our platform understands the meaning behind your words — not just keywords. We match your experience with counsellors who specialise in what you're facing.

3

You find the right support

Browse counsellors matched to your needs. Read their approaches, see client testimonials, and reach out when you're ready.

Jojo has help me get through so much unimaginable problems I have been ignoring. I am shy, quite and not very social, but talking to Jojo was easy, no pressure and felt comfortable. As a (undiagnosed) neurodivergent, she has really opened my eyes to help me understand why I have been struggling. Thank you so much Jojo I am so glad I came to you first. Helped me more than you know, giving me solutions and supporting me. Would always recommend you everytime.

“I had been struggling with attachment issues, anxiety, and a sense of lack of purpose, which deeply affected my life and made dating particularly difficult. My sessions with Reena were truly transformative. Through our work together, I gained a deeper understanding of myself and uncovered that the anxiety, overwhelm, frustration, and attachment struggles I was experiencing stemmed from unresolved grief I had been carrying for many years. Reena helped me process and release this grief."

I am very grateful to Sharon for the effort she made with me. I have seen OHU counsellors and NHS counsellors too but I would say from the CBT point of view Sharon was really good in her field, she was understanding, knowledgeable and professional. And by far the best therapist I have interacted with on a CBT front. My panic attacks and anxiety were illnesses related and very severe. I would definitely recommend engaging in a few sessions especially if you are experiencing complex issues.
