Francisca Morton – Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT)

she/her

I am an experienced CBT and integrative therapist with over 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, and self-esteem challenges. I trained in CBT and Group Work at The Centre of Therapy in Glasgow, and my approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques.

I am fully insured and a professional member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), the lead organization for CBT in the UK. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their concerns with full confidence and work towards meaningful change.

To ensure the highest level of care, I regularly engage in supervision and continuing professional development (CPD) to enhance my skills, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Personal Touch

Welcome to my page.

As an experienced CBT and integrative therapist, I have over 16 years of experience helping individuals with various issues, including depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, and self-esteem challenges. My approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques, ensuring that clients receive effective support.

In our sessions, we will typically:

  • Explore your concerns in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Use evidence-based techniques tailored to your needs.

  • Work collaboratively towards meaningful change.

  • Engage in discussions that promote self-reflection and growth.

  • Focus on building your self-esteem and coping strategies.

I am fully insured and a professional member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I regularly participate in supervision and continuing professional development to enhance my skills and stay current in the field. My commitment is to provide a warm and understanding space for you to navigate your challenges.

Client Focus

I often work with individuals who face challenges related to self-esteem. My goal is to help clients minimise the negative impact of their inner critic, which stems from unhelpful beliefs formed in childhood. Using a psychodynamic method, we address these beliefs together, allowing clients to develop a more compassionate inner voice.

In our sessions, we will typically:

  • Explore what the inner critic believes and understand its influence on self-esteem.

  • Work on effective cognitive reframing techniques to challenge and rewrite negative beliefs.

  • Develop strategies to cultivate a kinder inner dialogue and access helpful beliefs.

  • Enhance your self-awareness and self-acceptance.

  • Foster a more positive outlook on life.

I aim to support you in transforming your relationship with yourself.
