Jojo Reeves – Humanistic Therapist

she/her

Are you neurodivergent and tired of support that wasn’t designed for you? Or are you a parent trying to find someone who genuinely gets it?

I’m Jojo, a holistic counsellor working with neurodivergent individuals aged 16 and above. I specialise in supporting people with ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, and ND hoarding — and I bring a warm, creative, and flexible approach to every session.

Neurodivergent people are so often handed therapy that expects them to fit a neurotypical mould. I do things differently. Sessions are shaped around how you communicate, process, and make sense of the world — at your pace, in your way.

I use a range of holistic and creative approaches alongside talking therapy, because I believe healing doesn’t always happen through words alone.

If you’ve spent your life feeling like everyone else got a manual you never received — you’re in the right place.

Based in the UK. Currently accepting new clients aged 16+.

Personal Touch

I believe that personal experiences enrich my practice. Having been late diagnosed with ADHD and dyspraxia, I understand the complexities of navigating life with these conditions. I find joy in nature, especially when I can hear the sea or bird song. Reading is a passion of mine, and I often immerse myself in a good book.

Currently, I am also trying my hand at t’ai chi walking, which presents its own challenges due to my dyspraxia.

In my sessions, we will typically:

  • Explore personal experiences and challenges

  • Discuss coping strategies and insights

  • Foster a supportive and understanding environment

  • Encourage self-discovery and growth

  • Share moments of joy and peace in nature

I aim to create a warm and welcoming space for all my clients.

Client Focus

I work with neurodivergent adults (16+), parents and carers of children or adults with additional needs. I tailor my approach to fit each client, no two people will experience issues the same way and that’s reflected in the way we will work together.

My aim is to offer a calm, understanding  session where you can be yourself — no pressure, no judgement, no need to have the right words.

Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, so I keep the booking process as low-friction as possible. You do not need to call me on the phone. Simply click the 'Email me' button on this page. I will reply via email or text within 24 hours, answer any questions or concerns you may be experiencing, you may want to arrange a relaxed, no-pressure 15-minute chat to see if we are a good fit or book an appointment . I look forward to meeting you exactly as you are.

Therapy Approach

In-person and online, neurodivergent-affirming therapy for Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD  and adults with Dyspraxia, navigating burnout, executive dysfunction, emotional dysregulation, overwhelm and late-diagnosis unmasking.

My name is Jo, I’m a neurodivergent counsellor. I understand firsthand that feeling of being a square peg trying to fit yourself into a round hole  and the exhausting weight of navigating a world built for neurotypical brains, you won't have to explain or justify your traits to me.

My physical practice space in Wisbech is a sensory-friendly, judgment-free zone. Here, unmasking is not just allowed—it is protected. There is absolutely no pressure to make eye contact, sit perfectly still, or police your speech. If you need to stim, rock, sit on the floor, or bring a comfort item to your session please do, it’s important to me that you feel comfortable and at ease, so just choose your seat, kick off your shoes and get comfy.

Testimonials

Client Feedback

Jojo has help me get through so much unimaginable problems I have been ignoring. I am shy, quite and not very social, but talking to Jojo was easy, no pressure and felt comfortable. As a (undiagnosed) neurodivergent, she has really opened my eyes to help me understand why I have been struggling. Thank you so much Jojo I am so glad I came to you first. Helped me more than you know, giving me solutions and supporting me. Would always recommend you everytime.

I have been a user of Jo's services for a number of years now. As a neurodivergent woman I quite often find it difficult to express my feelings clearly, but Jo has always understood me completely. She is professional, very empathetic, extremely patient and never fails to help me with any issues I might have. I can't recommend her enough!
