We’re introducing a new AI writing assistant to help you build and improve your Counselling.Network profile — designed specifically to support you when you need it, and stay out of the way when you don’t.

This feature is there to help with writer’s block, improving tone and clarity, and turning rough ideas into polished, client-friendly wording. It does not replace your voice, your expertise, or your professional judgement.

You remain fully in control at all times.

How the AI assistant helps:

Gets you started when the page feels blank
Helps refine tone and structure
Turns short notes into clear, readable text
Offers suggestions you can accept, edit, or ignore

The AI assistant uses OpenAI to generate suggestions, but nothing is published automatically. You choose what to keep, what to change, and what to discard. If you prefer to write everything yourself, you can — the AI is entirely optional.

This feature is especially useful for:

“About me” and profile descriptions
Explaining your approach and client focus
Rewriting sections to sound warmer or clearer
Saving time while keeping your authentic voice

As with all Counselling.Network features, this AI assistant is included as part of your subscription at no extra cost. It’s simply another tool to support you in presenting yourself confidently and professionally to clients.

You’ll see the AI helper available directly within your profile sections.

Does the AI write my profile for me?
No. The AI only provides suggestions. Nothing is saved or published unless you choose to use it.

Can I edit what the AI suggests?
Yes — always. You can edit, rewrite, or ignore any suggestion. Think of it as a starting point, not a finished answer.

Do I have to use the AI?
Not at all. The AI assistant is completely optional. You can continue writing everything yourself if you prefer.

Will my profile sound generic?
No. The AI is designed to support your words and tone, not replace them. You decide what feels authentic and appropriate for your practice.

Is this included in my subscription?
