COUNSELLING.NETWORK FOR SHAREPOINT
An administrator's guide to store installation, deployment scope, connectivity and handing the web part over to your content team.
You need SharePoint Online, a modern target page and an administrator authorised to approve apps. Use your organisation's normal app review and change process. This is a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solution, not a classic SharePoint Add-in or a Windows desktop Store app.
Assign a company subscription owner and a site content owner. The planned company subscription covers one named Microsoft 365 tenant; sessions and Microsoft 365 licensing are separate.
Store access and app requests depend on tenant policy. If a site owner cannot add an app, use your administrator approval process. Microsoft documents managing apps through the Apps site and adding apps to sites; labels can change over time.
If Counselling.Network provides an approved pilot package, upload the supplied .sppkg to the Apps site, review and enable it, and make it available to your test site. Do not substitute a package from an unverified source. This route does not imply store certification.
The current release requests public directory data from https://counselling.network over HTTPS. It does not request Microsoft Graph permissions or send SharePoint staff names, emails or user IDs in these requests. It uses no browser API secret.
Permit the service and required public image resources through your normal network review. Some article images use approved external image hosting. Profile, all-results, article and social links open external pages in a new tab. Review those destinations under your own policy.
Normal server and infrastructure logs can still process IP addresses and request information. Do not describe the integration as fully anonymous. Any future licence-authentication requirements will need an updated deployment and privacy review.
Check the app is enabled, the site has access under your chosen scope and the page is modern. A deployment may require site-level addition before the picker shows the web part.
Confirm the configured API origin is https://counselling.network with no extra path. Check network filtering and service availability. Users can use the directory fallback while the issue is investigated.
Staff sharing an outbound IP may share rate limits. Avoid repeated retries; contact support if normal company use repeatedly triggers this response.
Prices depend on published practitioner settings. Articles require both relevant display settings and an available feed; the Explore link remains as a fallback. Missing image content can use a placeholder.
Give the content owner the wellbeing-page guide and confirm who owns subscription administration. Record the installed version and target sites. Review updates through your normal app lifecycle and repeat the pilot checks before broad rollout.
To withdraw the page experience, remove the web part and republish the page. Organisation-wide app removal should follow your change process after checking other pages using it. Removing an app does not itself cancel a paid subscription.
Product support: support@counselling.network. Include the package version and redacted error details; do not send staff search histories, health information, credentials or tokens.
